The State of AI Agents: What's Real Today, What's Coming & How to Be Ready

AI agents are already in production — handling customer conversations, running internal workflows, and making decisions that once required a human. The landscape is shifting month over month, and knowing what's real versus what's overhyped has never mattered more.
This session is a practitioner's tour through what every leader should be tracking: what's actually shipping at scale, what separates deployments that hold from pilots that stall, and where multi-agent systems have earned their credit — and where they haven't.
From there, the focus shifts forward. Four forces are reshaping how organizations think about agents: workforce design, vendor strategy, security posture, and the economics of running them at scale. You'll leave with a sharper read on which trends carry real weight — including a few the analyst reports haven't caught up to yet — and the right questions to bring back to your team.

Ethics in AI﹒From the Workplace to the Classroom

AI isn't just changing what we do — it's challenging the rules we've built to govern how we do it. This session explores the ethical and regulatory landscape taking shape around AI: where existing frameworks fall short, where new ones are emerging, and where the questions themselves are genuinely new. For leaders in business, research, and education, awareness is only the starting point. Navigating what's ahead demands new ethical skills and governance structures fit for the world AI is already creating.
